Eleni Yianna Hogg

Eleni is a multilingual brand and marketing strategist who balances commercial nous with a creative design sensibility — building a career across New Zealand, Asia, and Europe in hands-on roles, leading projects from strategy through to execution.
Based in Shanghai for six years as a senior account & project manager at Tribal Brands Asia, she ran marketing campaigns and events across food, beverage, and lifestyle, with brand clients including Fisher & Paykel, Fonterra, and Avanza Avocados, alongside large-scale activations for New Zealand government agencies. Prominent projects included scaling the food and culture campaign New Zealand Week to 200+ venues across China, bringing the internationally acclaimed World of Wearable Arts to the New Zealand Gala Ball, launching the NZ Film Festival in Shanghai, and producing the Tuku Iho | Living Legacy exhibition opening at the Power Station of Art — home of the prestigious Shanghai Biennale.
Back in New Zealand, she spent five years as a fractional Marketing Director spanning food, beverage, and biotech — including leading the marketing programme at Golden Bay Fruit across Vietnam, Thailand, China, and the UK, while simultaneously heading brand and communications for NewFish (later NXW), a biotech venture developing microalgae-based nutrition. This included representing the company at Future Food Tech San Francisco and leading their Katapult Ocean accelerator programme in Oslo.
Outside of work she hones her creativity through interior design projects, gallery visits, gigs, and playing piano, keeping her Kiwi roots alive on a pair of skis, a tennis court, a hiking trail or a yoga mat.
