As NewFish matured from a consumer food startup into a deep-tech nutrition company, it needed more than a new name — it needed a fundamentally different way of talking about itself. The pivot to NXW: Nutrition from Water represented a shift in audience, ambition, and commercial model, targeting global food manufacturers and ingredient buyers rather than restaurant diners. The brand, the narrative, and all communications had to move with it, without losing the brand equity built with NewFish.
Eleni led the company through this transition in a fractional Head of Marketing role, managing the rebrand from NewFish to NXW and building the communications platform needed to engage investors, accelerators, and strategic partners at an international level. This included early visual direction, website development, video production, impact storytelling and marketing collateral — all oriented around NXW's core proposition: unlocking complete, affordable nutrition from microalgae at scale.
She represented NXW at Future Food Tech San Francisco, one of the world's leading foodtech conferences, supporting commercial and investor engagement in person. She also project-led the company through the intensive Katapult Ocean Impact Accelerator programme, based in Oslo — a highly competitive global accelerator focused on ocean-positive businesses. The work contributed to a period of significant commercial and investor momentum for the company.
